Pumps for Chemically Aggressive Media
Pumps for chemically aggressive media are specialized equipment designed for transferring liquids that can damage standard materials and require high resistance to corrosion. These include acids, alkalis, saline solutions, chemical reagents, and technical liquids with active compositions.
Unlike standard water pumps, these models are made from chemically resistant materials such as specialized plastics, stainless steel, or composites. This allows them to operate reliably even under continuous contact with aggressive substances, without damage to the housing or internal components.
These pumps are used:
• in water treatment and chemical dosing systems
• in industrial and manufacturing processes
• for handling fertilizers, chemicals, and technical liquids
• in service and engineering systems where chemicals are involved
For tasks related to clean water supply or household water systems, other solutions are used — such as centrifugal and surface pumps. For removing contaminated water, drainage and sewage pumps are applied, but they are not designed to handle chemically aggressive substances.
