The three-way valve with anticondensation function and external thread is designed for automatic control of the temperature of the heat carrier in the return line, maintaining it within set limits. The device allows selecting temperature settings in the range of 45°, 55°, 60°, and 70°C, effectively preventing condensation formation and extending the service life of the heating system.
Purpose
The valve is equipped with a thermostatic element placed in the heat carrier, which prevents too cold water from entering the boiler. This reduces the risk of condensation on the walls of the boiler and chimney, eliminating corrosion of metal elements. Condensation formation is especially critical for solid fuel boilers, as burning wood, pellets, or briquettes produces steam that settles on cooled surfaces. Installed in the return line, the valve regulates the temperature of the circulating liquid, minimizing the likelihood of system damage.
Operating principle
Initial stage When the boiler is started, the temperature of the heat carrier is not yet high enough. At this time, the valve is in the open position (A), and the pipeline from the accumulator (B) remains closed. Water circulates through a small circuit, contributing to the rapid heating of the system.
Mixing flows As soon as the temperature on the bypass (A) exceeds the set threshold, the valve partially opens the pipeline from the accumulator (B). As a result, cold and hot water flows mix, ensuring a smooth temperature increase.
Switching to the main mode If the temperature on the bypass exceeds the set value by 10°C, the valve closes the bypass line (A) and fully opens the supply through the accumulator (B). At this stage, the heat carrier circulates through an extended circuit.
Operation with accumulator The system continues to operate through the accumulator until the fuel is completely burned. After this, the boiler shuts down, and heating is maintained by the stored heat. When fuel is reloaded, the cycle repeats.
Advantages
Condensation protection – reduces the risk of condensation formation, extending the service life of the boiler and chimney.
Automatic operation – maintains the optimal temperature of the heat carrier without user intervention.
Compatibility – suitable for heating systems with solid fuel boilers.
Easy installation – the external thread facilitates installation.
The three-way anticondensation valve is a reliable and efficient solution for preventing corrosion and extending the service life of heating equipment.
