Haier SUPER AQUA Hydro Split GT R290 AW142HVGHA + HU162WAHYB 14 kW is a powerful single-phase air-to-water system for heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply. The model is designed for properties with a high heating load, where high performance, energy efficiency and operation at low outdoor temperatures are all important.

The set includes the AW142HVGHA outdoor unit and the HU162WAHYB hydraulic module. The system uses the natural refrigerant R290, combining modern environmental requirements with high operating temperatures.

Efficient use of energy from the outdoor air

The heat pump does not produce all the required thermal energy through direct electric heating. Instead, it transfers heat from the surrounding air into the building’s water-based system. This is why modern air-to-water systems can use electricity much more efficiently.

In the SUPER AQUA GT HYDRO series, the maximum COP reaches 5.50. For heating at water temperatures of 35 and 55 °C, the equipment meets the A+++ / A+++ rating.

High efficiency is particularly important for a 14 kW system, since reducing energy consumption per unit of heat delivered can significantly affect running costs throughout the heating season.

Water up to 80 °C and A+ rated DHW

The Haier AW142HVGHA can supply water at a temperature of up to 80 °C. This makes the equipment suitable for both new buildings with underfloor heating and renovation projects where radiator heating needs to be retained.

The heat pump can contribute to domestic hot water production, for which an efficiency rating of A+ is declared. A single unit can therefore meet the building’s main service requirements: winter heating, summer cooling and year-round domestic hot water supply.

Stable operation in freezing conditions

The SUPER AQUA GT HYDRO outdoor unit is designed to operate at temperatures as low as –25 °C. Even during cold weather, the system continues to extract thermal energy from the outdoor air and transfer it to the water circuit.

Output is automatically regulated by the inverter. As the outdoor temperature and heating load change, the compressor adjusts its operating frequency, helping maintain a stable indoor climate with the minimum necessary energy consumption.

Minimising noise and vibration

To reduce noise, the outdoor unit’s compressor is covered with special sound-insulating material. A quiet DC motor and an optimised fan shape are also used.

Under certain conditions, the noise level is approximately 35 dB(A) at a distance of 3 metres. Low acoustic impact is particularly important when installing the heat pump near a living area, terrace or neighbouring buildings.

Safe R290 system design

Since R290 is a flammable natural refrigerant, Haier incorporates additional technical protection measures. The refrigerant separator is designed to prevent R290 from entering the water system in the event of an accidental leak, while the control unit is protected by a sealed enclosure.

The series’ equipment is EUROVENT and KEYMARK certified and registered in the EPREL database.
