Wall-mounted compression elbow, polyethylene, PN 6 bar, d. 25 x 3/4" (female)
The wall-mounted compression elbow for polyethylene (HDPE) pipes Ø 25 mm with a 3/4″ female thread is a convenient and reliable fitting for connecting a polyethylene main line to valves, adapters, or metal piping with a male thread. It is commonly used in outdoor water supply installations, distribution nodes, building entries, irrigation lines, and utility points where a neat wall outlet and stable joint fixation are required.
Its key feature is the compression (clamp) installation principle. No welding, soldering, glue, or complex tools are needed: simply prepare the pipe correctly and tighten the nut with a standard wrench. The clamping action locks the pipe inside the body and creates a leak-tight joint that withstands normal operating loads. The PN 6 bar rating makes this elbow suitable for most typical water supply tasks on a property and in a private house.
A 3/4″ thread is often chosen when a higher-flow threaded connection is needed (for example, for taps, filters, distribution manifolds, irrigation nodes, or equipment with a 3/4″ connection). At the same time, a 25 mm pipe diameter works well as a supply line: it is frequently used to feed multiple points and helps reduce pressure losses over longer runs.
Where this fitting is especially useful
a wall outlet for connecting a tap/irrigation node/equipment with a 3/4″ thread;
connecting 25 mm HDPE pipe to metal components and valves;
outdoor water lines, seasonal systems, connections to outbuildings, bathhouse, summer kitchen;
creating a neat, fixed connection point so the pipe does not “move” or kink.
Benefits
fast installation: done in minutes, no special equipment;
leak-tightness: reliable clamping and proper pipe seating;
versatility: supports almost any system layout;
cost savings: no welding work and no professional tools required;
easy service: the joint can be disassembled and reassembled if necessary.
How to install correctly
Shut off the main valve and relieve system pressure by opening a lower draw-off point (full draining is not required).
Make sure the pipe is measured accurately and cut square—this affects seating and sealing.
Insert the Ø 25 mm pipe fully into the fitting until it bottoms out, ensuring firm contact with the sealing area.
Tighten the nut: typically about one full turn after the nut “seats” and noticeable resistance appears is enough. Overtightening can be harmful—tighten firmly, but do not force it.
