Transition for metal-plastic pipe PEX-AL-PEX F 26 mm.x 3/4
The PEX-AL-PEX 26 mm × 3/4" F adapter is a detachable compression fitting designed to create a leak-tight connection between Ø26 mm multilayer (metal-plastic) pipe and plumbing/heating components with a 3/4" male thread. It is especially convenient when the main line is built with 26 mm pipe (for confident flow and stable pressure) while the connected component—such as a valve, filter, manifold outlet, pressure reducer, metering assembly, or other element—uses the common 3/4" threaded standard. The result is a neat, logical connection point without unnecessary extra adapters, reducing the number of joints and improving overall system reliability.
This fitting is used in heating systems and cold/hot water supply, in boiler-room piping, manifold cabinets, and distribution headers, as well as for connecting water heaters and pump groups. It is also well suited for high-humidity environments. The adapter can be installed in bathrooms, kitchens, and technical niches, and it is a reliable choice for steam rooms and saunas where material durability and joint stability are critical.
The fitting is made of brass with a nickel-plated finish. The brass body provides strength and dependable threads, while nickel plating adds protection against corrosion, mechanical wear, and exposure to aggressive conditions (moisture, condensation, impurities in water, household chemicals). This helps the adapter maintain both performance and a neat appearance over a long service life—important for joints that remain accessible for inspection.
On the pipe side, it uses a compression connection: the Ø26 mm PEX-AL-PEX pipe is secured on the spigot by a compression ring and union nut. Installation requires no welding, soldering, or press tools—an adjustable wrench is typically sufficient. The detachable design is a key advantage: you can disassemble the joint to replace a component, perform maintenance, or upgrade a section without dismantling the entire system. For reassembly, it is recommended to check the compression ring and replace it if needed to maintain consistent leak-tightness.
For a reliable result, proper pipe preparation is essential: make a clean square 90° cut, calibrate the end, and deburr/chamfer. Then slide the nut and compression ring onto the pipe, insert the pipe fully into the fitting, and tighten the nut using two wrenches (one holding the fitting body to prevent twisting). Avoid over-tightening, as excessive force may damage the pipe or deform the ring. Connect the 3/4" female thread (F) to the male-threaded component using an appropriate sealing material to ensure long-term sealing.
The adapter is engineered for real operating conditions: -20°C to +90°C working temperature and up to 10 bar nominal pressure. These specifications make it a versatile solution for most residential building services systems, including installations near finished surfaces (such as ceramic tiles) and in technical areas where reliability and safety are especially important.
If you need a quality PEX-AL-PEX 26×3/4" F compression adapter to connect multilayer pipe to 3/4" threaded components, with a strong brass body and protective nickel plating, this fitting is a practical foundation for a long-lasting, leak-tight installation.
