Transition for metal-plastic pipe PEX-AL-PEX F 16 mm.x 3/4
The PEX-AL-PEX 16 mm × 3/4" F adapter is a detachable compression fitting designed to connect Ø16 mm multilayer (metal-plastic) pipe to system components and equipment with a 3/4" male thread. This format is especially useful when standard 1/2" fittings are not sufficient and a higher-flow joint is required—such as manifold groups, main-line valves, filters, pressure reducers, circulation assemblies, distribution manifolds, and boiler-room connections. The adapter provides a fast “pipe → thread” transition without complicated adapters or extra joints, keeping the installation neat and helping reduce the risk of leaks.
The fitting is made of brass with a nickel-plated finish. Brass holds threads well, withstands mechanical loads, and tolerates temperature changes, while the nickel plating adds protection against corrosion, mechanical wear, and exposure to aggressive media. This makes the connector suitable not only for typical apartment or house installations, but also for high-humidity areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, and boiler/technical rooms, as well as steam rooms and saunas where threaded joint reliability is critical.
On the pipe side, it uses a compression connection: a union nut and compression ring secure the PEX-AL-PEX pipe without soldering, welding, or press tools. On the connection side, it features a 3/4" female thread (F), compatible with most plumbing and heating components with a male thread. The detachable design is a major advantage: you can inspect the joint, replace a valve or filter, or upgrade the assembly without dismantling the entire line. For reassembly, replacing the compression ring is a practical step to maintain consistent leak-tight performance.
Installation is straightforward and quick. In most cases, you only need an adjustable wrench and proper pipe preparation: a clean square 90° cut, calibration, and deburring/chamfering. Then push the pipe onto the fitting until it stops and tighten the nut using two wrenches (one to hold the fitting body). Avoid over-tightening, as excessive force may deform the ring or damage the pipe. For the threaded side, use an appropriate sealing material suited to your system’s conditions.
The adapter is engineered for stable operation in building services systems: a working temperature range of -20°C to +90°C and nominal pressure up to 10 bar. These specifications fit most residential heating and water supply applications (hot/cold water), including installations in technical niches, manifold cabinets, and near finished surfaces—such as tiled areas.
If you need a reliable PEX-AL-PEX 16×3/4" F compression adapter to connect multilayer pipe to 3/4" male-threaded components, with protective nickel plating and a service-friendly detachable design, this fitting is a practical choice for long-lasting, leak-tight installation.
