Product Description

The automatic solid fuel boiler Defro Komfort Eko Lux is an efficient alternative to gas and liquid fuel heating systems, combining ease of use with low energy consumption. It is equipped with an automatic fuel supply system for the combustion chamber and a durable retort burner made of heat-resistant cast iron.

The advanced multi-zone heat exchanger in Komfort Eko Lux is made of P265GH Arcelor Mittal heat-resistant steel with a thickness of 6–8 mm, ensuring an efficiency of up to 88%. The insulation consists of mineral basalt wool placed between the heat exchanger and the casing, as well as in the furnace doors, eliminating the risk of burns when touching the boiler’s external metal parts.

Komfort Eko Lux features an innovative cast iron retort burner and a spacious hopper for granular solid fuel such as pellets or coal (5–25 mm fraction), providing an autonomous operation of 3–5 days. The burner is designed as a cup where combustion takes place. Fuel is automatically fed into the combustion chamber by an auger mechanism, while primary air is forced in to maintain stable combustion and prevent the burner from overheating.

Additionally, secondary air enters through special openings, promoting complete fuel combustion and automatic ash removal as new fuel is introduced.

The multi-point air supply system used in Defro Komfort Eko Lux enhances combustion efficiency and includes an additional nozzle cleaning mechanism. Direct airflow into the combustion zone ensures a steady and prolonged burning process, optimizing the boiler’s performance.

Flue gases are discharged through a connector located at the back of the boiler. The draft is controlled by an adjustable damper, allowing users to regulate the combustion intensity. The boiler’s construction is designed for easy maintenance—cleaning the heat exchanger and flue channels is quick and hassle-free.

A modern weather-dependent controller manages four pumps (heating, domestic hot water, and two additional circuits), a mixing valve, and supports the integration of GSM and internet modules for remote monitoring. A SPK Lux room thermostat can also be connected. The controller’s software can be updated via USB, downloading the latest version from the manufacturer’s official website.

Although Defro Komfort Eko Lux is a single-circuit boiler, it can be connected to an indirect water heater, ensuring hot water supply throughout the heating season. The use of a circulation pump speeds up system heating. The boiler installation is simple and does not require complex work, allowing for either self-installation or professional assistance.
