The 180 mm inner diameter is typically used with more powerful heat generators and in applications where confident flue-gas evacuation with minimal resistance is required, while the 230 mm outer diameter is formed by the insulation layer and the outer shell.

The design is engineered for real chimney operating conditions: temperature cycling, humidity, chemically active condensate, and intermittent “start-up — intensive firing — cool-down” regimes. The AISI 316L inner liner is more resistant to acids that form when flue gases cool and condensate occurs.
