The ELDOM 750L thermal storage tank is a highly efficient medium-capacity buffer vessel designed for heating systems in private homes, cottages, and small commercial facilities. It accumulates thermal energy from boilers and renewable sources, improving overall system efficiency and temperature stability.
Purpose and application areas
ELDOM 750L is used as a heat accumulator in heating systems where:
▪️ a solid-fuel boiler operates in a cyclic manner;
▪️ a heat pump or solar collectors are used;
▪️ temperature fluctuations must be stabilized to ensure uniform heating.
The tank is not enamelled and is not intended for direct production of potable or sanitary hot water. Its function is to store and distribute thermal energy among heating circuits (radiators, underfloor heating, fan-coils, etc.).
Construction and design
The outer body is made of durable INOX-colored synthetic material, resistant to wear and environmental influences. This ensures not only functionality but also a clean, professional appearance in the boiler room.
The buffer tank features:
▪️ an optimal shape for installation in limited spaces;
▪️ well-designed port positioning for easy connection of various circuits.
Energy efficiency and insulation
Like the larger models, ELDOM 750L is equipped with high-quality thermal insulation:
▪️ freon-free, high-density HFO polyurethane foam;
▪️ insulation thickness — 80 mm;
▪️ closed-cell structure for reduced heat transfer.
This allows:
▪️ minimal heat losses;
▪️ extended heat retention;
▪️ reduced boiler or heat pump cycling;
▪️ significant savings on fuel and electricity.
Connection and automation capabilities
The tank comes with multiple technical ports, making integration into complex heating schemes easy:
▪️ simultaneous connection of a boiler and renewable energy sources;
▪️ creation of multiple separate heating circuits (radiators, underfloor heating, indirect DHW boiler, etc.);
▪️ installation of pump groups, mixing valves and automation systems.
Additional features include:
▪️ ports for temperature sensors — enabling precise monitoring through heating controllers;
▪️ a sensor connector with built-in temperature probe — for data transfer to the control system;
▪️ temperature indicator for quick visual inspection.
A mounting port for an auxiliary electric immersion heater (TEN) is also provided, allowing electricity to be used as a backup or night-tariff heat source.
Key advantages
▪️ stable, floor-mounted construction;
▪️ compatibility with multiple alternative heat sources;
▪️ significant reduction in boiler cycling and extended equipment lifespan;
▪️ ideal solution for hybrid systems — boiler + heat pump + solar collectors;
▪️ improved comfort: a more stable indoor temperature without major fluctuations.
