Ventilation systems
There are several types of ventilation systems in Chisinau, including:
- Supply-Extraction: This is a system where fresh air enters the room through a supply unit and polluted air is extracted through an exhaust unit. Typically used in commercial buildings and large offices.
- Forced ventilation: Fresh oxygen enters the room only through the oxygen inlet, and polluted air is exhausted naturally through windows or other openings in the walls and ceiling. This system can be used in a home or small office.
- Exhaust: Contaminated air exits the room through an exhaust, and fresh oxygen flows naturally through windows or other openings in the walls and ceiling. It is used in living room or small office.
- Exchange Ventilation: This is a system where fresh air enters the room through the oxygen supply unit and polluted air exits through the exhaust unit, but heat and moisture are transferred from the exhaust air to the oxygen supply via a heat exchanger. This system is commonly used to use energy more efficiently in commercial and residential buildings.
- Semi-Exhaust: This is a system that combines supply air and exhaust air. Fresh oxygen is introduced into the room through the supply and polluted air is expelled through the exhaust, but it can also enter through some open windows or other openings. The system can be used in residential and commercial buildings.
Why You Need a Good Ventilation System in Moldova

Air Purification: Ventilation helps remove pollutants such as dust, smoke, bacteria, and other pollutants. This is especially important for people with allergies or breathing problems.
Humidity Control: Properly helps maintain indoor humidity levels at an optimal level, which prevents the growth of mold and mildew and reduces the risk of allergies and respiratory illnesses.
Improving air quality: A good ventilation system provides a constant flow of fresh oxygen into the room, which can improve quality.
