Structural Features

The DUO-PID boiler offers two options for the combustion system:

• A modern cast iron retort burner.
• A classic chamber with a fixed water grate.

Casing

The casing is made of a bent-welded construction with a water jacket, manufactured from certified boiler steel with a thickness of 6 mm.

Operating Principle

Fuel combustion is achieved through automatic feeding into the cast iron retort burner via a screw feeder. The process is supported by forced air supply. The built-in cast iron deflector, located above the burner, ensures complete gas combustion and even heat distribution.

Chimney and Damper

The chimney, positioned at a 45° angle, allows for efficient exhaust of combustion products. The adjustable damper helps regulate the draft, preventing excessive depressurization of the system.

Water Grate

Enables the use of large-fraction fuel (from 4 cm) and ensures boiler operation even during power outages, provided the heating system is properly designed.

Boiler Control

In its standard configuration, the boiler is equipped with an ST-750 TECH controller that supports a PID algorithm and includes a flue gas temperature sensor.

Key controller functions:

• Air supply regulation.
• Control of four pumps (heating, domestic hot water, underfloor heating, circulation).
• Management of a valve actuator.
• Compatibility with three-way and four-way valves, as well as remote control modules (Internet/GSM).
